TeachTracker operates a skill-discovery platform in Bangladesh. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use our website and related services.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone where you provide it, role (learner, teacher, center), and authentication identifiers.
- Profile and listings: bios, skills, courses, pricing, locations (city, area, optional map coordinates), photos or logos, WhatsApp or other contact fields you choose to display, and subscription or badge status where applicable.
- Usage and device: pages viewed, search queries, filters, and technical data such as browser type and approximate timestamps. We may log searches to improve the product and understand demand.
- Payments: payment processing is handled by our payment partners; we receive limited transactional and subscription status information, not your full card details.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Create accounts, show profiles in search and on maps, and operate core features.
- Process subscriptions, display featured or pro badges, and prevent abuse or fraud.
- Improve ranking, relevance, safety, and analytics (often in aggregated form).
- Comply with law and respond to valid legal requests.
4. Sharing
Public teacher and center profiles are visible to visitors as you configure them. We share data with service providers who host infrastructure, process payments, or help us operate the Platform, under contracts that require appropriate protection. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users and TeachTracker.
5. Storage, security, and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. Retention depends on the type of data: account and profile information is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, or dispute needs unless you request deletion where the law allows.
6. Cookies and local storage
We may use cookies or browser storage (for example to keep you signed in). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit certain features.
7. Your choices
Where applicable law grants rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, you may contact us. You can update much of your profile in the product. Marketing communications, if any, will include opt-out instructions.
8. Children
The Platform is not directed at children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child without proper consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Our servers or providers may be located outside Bangladesh. Where we transfer data, we take steps consistent with applicable law.
