1. Agreement
By accessing or using TeachTracker ("the Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
2. What TeachTracker does
TeachTracker helps learners in Bangladesh discover independent teachers and coaching centers through search, profiles, and map-based discovery. We provide a venue for listings and communication tools where offered; we do not employ educators and are not a school or guarantor of any lesson, course, or outcome.
3. Accounts and roles
You must provide accurate information when registering. Account types include learners, teachers, and centers.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.
- Teachers and centers are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, pricing, availability, and compliance with local law.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm other users or the Platform.
4. Listings, reviews, and content
You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute content you submit (bios, photos, course titles, etc.) in connection with operating the Platform. You represent that you have the rights to that content. Reviews should be honest and not defamatory, fake, or manipulative. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates law or these terms.
5. Paid plans and billing
Optional subscriptions (for example featured teacher or pro center plans) are billed as described at checkout. Fees, taxes, renewal, and cancellation rules are shown where you purchase. Failure to pay may result in loss of paid features. Unless required by law, payments are generally non-refundable once the service period has started.
6. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for fraud, harassment, discrimination, or illegal activity.
- Scrape, overload, or attempt to compromise our systems or other users' data.
- Circumvent fees or misrepresent your identity or qualifications.
- Collect personal data from users without lawful basis and consent where required.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind except as required by law. We do not verify every credential or background. Any agreement for lessons or courses is between learners and educators; TeachTracker is not a party to those arrangements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for disputes between users. Our total liability for claims arising from these terms or the Platform is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or BDT 2,000.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, subject to mandatory consumer protections where they apply. Courts with jurisdiction in Bangladesh have exclusive venue unless otherwise required by law.
